A woman’s body undergoes vast changes during pregnancy and after delivery. Yoga helps you focus, so you are equipped to handle the challenges of motherhood and the unique physical demands of caring for an infant. You will ease back into your practice, correcting misalignments and imbalances before they become part of your postpartum physiology. Yoga helps to reintegrate abdominal and other core muscles, tone the pelvic floor and assist in recovery from surgery or trauma to the tissues. It’s the ideal tool for regaining strength, reconnecting with body and breath, reinforcing proper alignment, and creating the focus you crave.

Strengthening the core, pelvic floor and upper body

Yoga for common discomforts of new motherhood

Positions for nursing, feeding and caring for baby

Breathing and meditation for calm and focus

Creating community with other mothers

Pre-crawling babies are welcome to attend. Please bring a car seat or blanket for baby.
