Breath/ Body/ Mind includes Pranayama (breath) and Meditation (mind).  Each week we will experience different breath techniques and move through gentle poses, connecting movement and breath, to prepare the body and mind for stillness.

We will explore different meditation techniques, including mindfulness meditation, single-focus, and guided imagery.  This all-levels class supports both the beginner and the advanced practitioner; those with a personal meditation practice, and anyone who is curious about the many benefits of mindfulness.

Class will be adapted for all abilities.

A free yoga class for anyone touched by cancer, including caregivers, friends & family.  Yoga can renew the body, lower stress, bring a sense of inner calm and well-being, and be an important aid to your body in its fight for recovery. Comfortable clothing recommended.  All levels welcome.  Class is adapted for all abilities.  Taught by Rebecca Leary RYT500 C-IAYT Y4C Professionally-Trained Teacher.
